DOI:

This study analyzed the institutional proposals for the curricularization of extension activities at the federal universities of the state of São Paulo (UFSCAR, UFABC, and
UNIFESP) through exploratory qualitative research. Theoretical chapters were developed alongside a documentary analysis of the curricularization proposals and their relationship with the institutional development plans (IDPs). Content analysis was conducted, revealing both similarities and specific characteristics in each document. The misalignment between the guiding documents – IDP, Institutional Pedagogical Project (PPI), and course Pedagogical Project/Pedagogical Policy Project (PPP/PPC) – and the proposals represents a barrier to the effective implementation of extension practices.
