People with disabilities in professional learning programs: adaptations as alternatives to enable inclusion

This article addresses the inclusion of people with disabilities in a professional learning program, looking to identify the adaptations made in the curriculum, methodologies and teaching materials. The results indicate flexibility, simulations, and sensitivity as curricular adaptations; creativity, play and group work in the methodological adaptations and the development of tools in the material adaptations. Finally, there is a paradox between teacher training and the adaptation needs, in addition to the importance of professional specialists in conducting the inclusive processes.
