This is a time when most Brazilian students and workers find themselves in the condition of carrying out their activities only at a distance, due to the quarantine that the world's populations undergo in an attempt to stop the Covid-19 pandemic. Thus, the following interview reflects on the teaching and learning processes of today and their historical roots, to question the real quantitative and qualitative scope of the policies that involve access to education in the country.
