Abstract

This study investigates the influence of gamification as an active teaching method to enhance engagement and motivation in distance learning. An experimental study was conducted with two groups of students from the same educational institution. Data were analyzed using nonparametric tests, post-hoc analyses, and comparative methods applied separately to each group. The results provide evidence that incorporating gamification elements into video lessons in distance learning environments increases student motivation and engagement.
