Abstract

The study parts of the changes in the world of the work and in the world of life, and it discusses the repercussions of those in the teachers' formation, affirming a formative and innovative context inside them, knowings and competences find spaces for the innovation, the construction and the reconstruction. We discussed the sign of the times represented by the competences, not just registering an idea that is imposed, but also all the contradictions, ambiguities and possibilities that such notion presents. We propose the dialogue among several formative paradigms, that guarantee the due space for the art, science and philosophy.
