Este artículo esta basado en la evolución que se está llevando a cabo en torno al concepto de información y en función de ello la definición de sociedad que se está generando, como pasar de la información al conocimiento, como del dato al conocimiento. Las necesidades que manifiestan los tejidos sociales de información y formación continua, que apoyándose en las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación posibilitan la superación de barreras espacio temporales.
