De Anísio Teixeira à cibercultura: desafios para a formação de professores ontem, hoje e amanhã

Although geared to present-day reality, this text recovers a concern already expressed by Anísio Teixeira in 1963: the worldwide revolution in means of communication cannot be ignored in training “tomorrow’s teachers.” Just when we were beginning to understand television as an indispensable pedagogical resource, as Anísio Teixeira would have it, the Internet comes along, and we end up having difficulties taking the necessary steps to improve cyberculture education. Based on the utopianism and daring of this always up-to-date educator, the article discusses the implications of cyberculture in producing the qualitative leap in the training of teachers for today and tomorrow.Downloads
