Abstract

The new context in which the relations between teachers, students, and educational institutions develop with the mediation of distance education technologies and the expectation of returning to face-to-face classes after quarantine makes us reflect on an issue that was already being pointed out as fundamental for the training of people and professionals in the 21st century even before the pandemic: the importance of developing socioemotional skills. In this sense, the Ayrton Senna Institute has been occupying a leadership position, placing, on the agenda of educational systems across the country, this change in mentality for the formation of a new educational paradigm. This interview seeks to elucidate the impact of socio-emotional competences in the teaching, learning, and training processes for a new job market.
