This article deals with the phenomenon called groupality and the two sides experienced in personnel management in the workplace environment: leadership and authority. Through analysis of the demands of groupality, the objective is to discuss the relation between those two sides of personnel management and the presence of psychical suffering in the social dynamics of workplaces. The article is based on research about the relations among work, health, and management in different professional categories and organizational frameworks developed at the Rio de Janeiro Higher Institute for Pedagogical Studies (ISEP-RJ). A qualitative methodological approach was used, seeking to understand work social dynamics, through the study and interrelations among their main indicators.Downloads
