This project is focused on developing an automatic translator from Portuguese into Brazilian sign language (LIBRAS), which can be used in the classroom, on TV (simultaneous to subtitles or replacing them), in videos, on the internet, in building visual books, and translating information through animated signs by computer. Its use will enable linguistic integration between persons with hearing disabilities and hearing people, making it possible for deaf people to have full access to the means for communication and entertainment.Downloads
